The Lead Organisation (including its training partners) is expected to have expertise in core skills (if proposed). Training in this area can be delivered though a separate cadre of trainers.
Provision of core skills is recommended to all the trainees. Almost all trainees of trades under this scheme are likely to be have limited literacy/numeracy skills. Inclusion of Core skills in the training package is encouraged.
The Core Skills Specialist is expected to adopt curriculum, manuals and conduct training of trainers.  Definitions of core skills are provided in Annex 2.

Supporting Working Children and Women through Education & Skill Development Trainings to Reduce Child Laborin balochistan. The women activities are based on adult literacy courses and skill building trainings including fashion designing, traditional dress making, beads work, machine embroidery and decoration. Moreover some job based training for Adults aged between 13 and 18 years are being conducted through their admission for training at different shops of the area that is cooperating with the project activities. Those children, followed by master trainers, were taught tailoring etc. The activities implemented during the reporting period are in fact well in target with the aforesaid goals. As a matter of fact the two learning centres established in Quetta are involving street and working children as foreseen, who are being taught adult literacy and primary Syllabus especially designed for the child labour and street children based on their psychological and educational needs. Even considering the dropping ratio registered we are confident that the 1st group of NFE learners (60 of them) will complete all the courses. These learners will finally be enrolled in Govt. Schools for being part of the formal education system and complete their studies till metric in those schools. This unprecedented education opportunity given to them will strongly contribute to eradication of child labour in the area.
